Commissions
These commission guidelines are strictly for my illustrations (what you see on this site). For any other projects you'd like to commission me for (installation, web design, etc.), I have a separate portfolio currently in progress that you may ask about.

Rules:
-Please be patient and trust me. I may take over 2 weeks depending how busy/motivated I am, and there may be other work before yours.
-Remember to provide references/detailed descriptions to prevent me from doing something you didn't prefer.
-I have the right to refuse a request or adjust the descriptions and prices.
-I have the right to use my finished works for my own purposes.
-My drawings are not for commercial use without consent.
My Artwork:
Please be familiar with my style so you don't waste your money on something you did not want. >< For samples just check my art sections or deviantART.
I am willing to draw:
-original characters, personas, fursonas, gaia avatars
-anime and anthro/furry style
-some animals, still life
-simple backgrounds (e.g. pattern, gradient, shadow)
-some detailed/more complex backgrounds (e.g. landscape, screenshot style, etc.)
-tasteful nudity
I am not willing to draw:
-fan art / characters from an official series/game - Sorry, this is for copyright reasons, but I may do fan-based original characters (FDD or Harry-Potter based) for example, or cosplays and parodies.
-certain overly explicit or adult-rated subjects (ask)
-mecha and "realism" figures - I need more practice on these styles first and will offer them later on another site.
Media I am willing to use:
Digital - Photoshop, Open Canvas 1.1, Paint Shop Pro 7, oekaki.
Traditional - ink, coloured pencil, paint (anything except oils), pencil sketches, charcoal, conte, mixed media
Sizes - For digital, no larger than 300dpi. For traditional, no larger than 8.5"x11" (roughly A4) because it might be too hard to scan or send(if you want the original)
Method of payment:
-Paypal only (kumaaa@gmail.com) I might accept money orders in the future or dA subscriptions, but not now. Sorry.
Pricing:
I would greatly appreciate if you can please include the paypal fee in your payment. Use this site to calculate the additional fee and add it to my commission price.
All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD). Use this site to convert currency.
Headshot/busts: $5.00 CAD
Samples: 1
Waist/Thigh-up: $10.00 CAD
Samples: 1 2
Full body: $15.00 CAD
Samples: 1 2
Chibi Style: $10.00 CAD
Samples: 1 2 3
Note: my chibis have varying proportions and detail/simplicity. If there is a specific kind you prefer, link the sample to me in your order.
Additional:
Animation (blinking only): + $2.00
Simple background: free, but specify if you like
Detailed/complex background (scenery, etc.): varies, about $4.00 - $7.00
Additional characters: Above are the prices for each character (e.g. 2 headshots is $10.00, 3 full bodies are $45.00, etc.)
Shipping (if you want the original): +$2.50 minimum to Canada and +$4.00 to USA, but will vary from other countries.
Commission Process:
Here is how my process usually goes:
1. you note/e-mail/pm me with the following (doesn't have to look exactly like that, but give me as many details as possible)
-reference images
-headshot/chibi//waist-up/full body?
-detailed description of character(s), personalities
-any additional stuff (simple/detailed background? animation?)
-Digital/Traditional - any specific media?
-any shipping - to what country?
2. I will try to make a total cost, or add a cost of shipping later. Do not pay until we come to an agreement. I will show a rough sketch of what you want and make adjustments as you wish; payment must be received by then before I continue.
(Note: don't pretend you want a commission just to get a sketch. It will be watermarked either way.)
3. Once payment is completed I'll continue on the work, and try to update you with my progress. Please be patient.
4. If you want the original, I'll ask for a mailing address once it's completed. It'll be in a bubble envelope and could take 1-4 weeks to get to you, but it's really not in my control...
Feel free to ask any questions. Right now I won't limit the number of slots I have, but if I do get a handful of commissions, I'll put my status on hold to finish them first.
